Saliguard EHGP is a liquid preservative blend specially designed for personal care, cosmetic, and hygiene formulations.
It offers broad-spectrum protection against bacteria, yeasts, molds, and fungi.
It is marketed as paraben-free and formaldehyde-free — allowing products to be labeled with “no parabens / no formaldehyde” claims.
The blend is compatible with a wide variety of raw materials (emulsifiers, surfactants, salts, pigments) and tolerates high temperatures and salt levels with minimal risk of discoloration or degradation.
It is stable over a wide pH range (approx. 2.0 to 12.0) and can be incorporated either in oil or aqueous phases (or toward the end) in formulations.
The typical shelf life in sealed, proper storage is around 2 to 3 years.

Appearance: Clear, colorless liquid.
Odor: Characteristic (moderate).
Solubility: Limited solubility in water, but soluble in oils, glycols, and compatible solvents.
pH tolerance: Effective from about pH 2.0 through pH 12.0.
Thermal / salt stability: Good stability under heat and in high salt content systems.
