Sodium Lactate 60% is a clear, nearly colorless aqueous solution of the sodium salt of natural L(+)-lactic acid, produced through the fermentation of sugar. It is a multi-functional ingredient widely used in cosmetics, personal care products, food preservation, pharmaceuticals, and soap making.
Cosmetics & Personal Care
Acts as a powerful humectant to attract and retain skin moisture.
Functions as a pH buffer and emollient in lotions, creams, and serums.
Boosts preservative efficacy, improving product stability and safety.
Soap Making
Hardens cold process soaps, making them easier to unmold and longer-lasting.
Recommended usage rate: 1–4% of oils, added to cooled lye solution.
